Art Project

I was at Target the other day and it was storming really badly & I didn't want to leave yet so I decided to go shopping some more and get Haylee some art stuff. I just picked up some water paint and construction paper. I want to research online for some good art projects for her age. I'd like to do at least one art project a week but in a week my school is really going to pick up and I'm going to be very busy so we shall see. I wish we had room that we could get her table and chairs or a small picnic table to do her art projects on. We may get rid of the high chair (she doesn't want to sit in it anymore anyways) and set something up where we keep that. She really enjoyed painting (actually more playing with the water, paint brush, and paint LOL).

PIZZA!!

At the grocery store Monday I decided to buy some things to make a pizza. Dave said I should get some small ones too so I could make some for myself when he's working. Well I decided I wanted to make one tonight for dinner and who better to help make it then Haylee?! I figured she'd have a lot of fun doing it so I asked her and of course she said "yes, yes, yes!" As if she even knew what it was! Well she did have a ton of fun and made a nice little mess too, but it was worth it!

Pee Pee on the Potty

So as many of you know, Haylee often asks to sit on the potty (by saying "pee pee"). I think she likes to because she sees Kylie and Mommy do it. Also, she likes to wipe. Well as always, she asked to sit on it this morning and I put her on there. While I was getting her clothes ready I heard a little trickle!!! She had actually peed on the potty!! I was so happy for her so I made a big deal about it and kept saying "you pee peed on the potty" and saying she was a big girl. After she got off the toilet she kept saying "pee pee potty, pee pee potty" =)

(Just for clarification, I DO usually put more water in the tub for her! She had taken the plug out and let all the water out and so I wanted to record her "swimming" and laying like a frog because she won't do that with a lot of water in there. So I'm not a mean mom who won't let her have any water ;-])
