Busch Gardens

Today was the first day Busch Gardens was open this year and it was only open to Season Pass holders. So us girls decided to go (my Dad had to work and Jacob & Dave don't have season passes). They were open from 10 - 6 and we got there around 12. Actually, we got there around 11 but took at least an hour to get inside the park because so many people were coming at the same time. Kylie also got her very own pass this year since she is over 3. Haylee won't need one until next year (although she really wanted one!).

big girl with her big girl pass =)

Brayden's first time at Busch Gardens!

We went and watched the show in Germany (we usually try to do this every time because the girls love it). Well the girls loved it again and were dancing a lot!

[sorry the quality & lighting aren't very good =( ]

One song they always do is the chicken dance. A lady came and got Haylee and she actually went out there all by HERSELF! I was so proud of her and she did great! She sure loves to dance! I can't wait to get her into a dance class when she's 3!
(Again, sorry its not the best quality,
it's kind of hard to see her)

Oreos and milk

I got some Oreos today at Target and thought what better way to end the night then to have Oreos and milk?! So I got some out, poured the milk and let Haylee go to town. Eating Oreos and milk reminds me of my childhood and the times when we spent the summers in IL with my Nana & Papa. Us oldest girl cousins would go swimming then come inside for some Oreos and milk (or some other sort of yummy snack). Some of the best times of my life!

I know she shouldn't have milk but it doesn't hurt to splurge every now and then! Hopefully she doesn't pay for it tomorrow because she was loving it, poor thing!

going in for the dunk

mmmmm
LOL

oh this is the life!!

After cookies and milk we got Haylee ready for bed and she picked out a book and we read it. It is a book that we used to read to her every single night and I still remember it, word for word! She decided she wanted to read it to me instead =)

Parade!

On Saturday we went to a St. Paddy's Day parade in Norfolk. Dave has been in it before doing the Honor Guard part and now that he's out of the Honor Guard we can actually go to the parades as a family. I was really excited to take Haylee to her first parade! She had fun and danced some but mostly enjoyed eating the candy and meeting a new little friend. Enjoy the (TONS) of pictures!

her pretty hair, a new way I decided to try out =)

all ready to go!
my loves <3

ready for it to start!

the beginning of the parade

the Norfolk Honor Guard, Dave used to do this
waving at everyone
she looks so big!
Haylee and her friend she met

who knew there was a ND club here!

And of course a video! It's from my phone so it's not the best quality but you get the idea.

Her and the little girl shared candy the whole time and yes, Haylee tried to pick up some nerds off the ground LOL. And at the end I was laughing because the little girl kept telling Haylee she's supposed to say cheese (because I had the camera out!). Too cute!

a lot, a lot?

Another funny thing I wanted to remember. Sorry if these are boring you but like I said, I really wanted to remember the funny things that Haylee says!

After I got Haylee up from her nap. I was changing her diaper and got a wipe out.

H: "I poop?"

Me: "No, you didn't poop. You just peed a lot."

H: "A lot, a lot??"

Me: "Yes, a lot, a lot, a lot"

H (as she is pointing at me): "You funny!"

Me: "No you're funny!"

H: "No, I'm a baby."

"please smell it"

This morning she was drinking my water and I asked for some...

H: "After you eat lunch."
~

Haylee to the dog (while pointing her finger and scowling her eyebrows):

"Don't you dare!!"

Not sure what that was about!

~

Randomly, she said "GO IRISH! Mommy, that Daddy's team?"

Then she pointed at the TV and I saw football was on.

~

While Haylee and I were just enjoying each others company this evening...

H: "I pooped, I pooped! Please smell it."

As she proceeded to turn around and face her butt to me!

Last storytime & a car ride

This morning Dave took Haylee to her last storytime (for a few weeks at least). I'm sure we'll sign her up again for the next session since she loves it so much! Dave took a few pictures =)

so excited!

bubble time!

showing off her certificate she got for completing this storytime!

up close =)

On our way to Target this evening Haylee was being super cute (what's new right?!). She was talking a lot and was very clear. I was thinking how in just one day she was talking so much better! LOL! Just a few funny things that made me laugh and I remembered.

She wanted some of her "Dora snacks" and this happened...

Me: "You don't need any more sugar Haylee"

H: "Its not sugar, it's Dora snacks!"

Later...

H: "The sun is on my face."

"She pooped!"

I was cleaning up some throw-up that the dog did and of course Haylee had to be a part of it...

"OH. MY. GOSH. She pooped!!"
