Ho Ho Ho!

Haylee could NOT wait to see Santa! She loves seeing all kinds of pictures of him and talks about him a lot. Which is very different from last year! So when we told her she was going to see him last night she was super excited!

All ready to go
 (taken on my camera phone)

When we got there she ran right up to him and hopped right on his lap! I had to rush and get my camera and go over there!

Doesn't she look nervous/excited... =)

When we were at the mall we went to a few stores. First we went and got Haylee's Christmas dress. I'm so excited to finally have it so we can get some pictures done! After we got that we went and got an ornament for this year. Haylee helped us pick it out =)

O' Christmas Tree... O' Christmas Tree...

Again, we were looking forward to some more Christmas traditions to share with Haylee this year. I love so much that she can really grasp what is going on and actually really loves it! I think she loves Christmas more than Dave and me combined! HAHA. Before Thanksgiving we would tell her that after Thanksgiving day it would be time for Christmas and everyone would start decorating. So you better believe that after Thanksgiving day she was asking if it was Christmas time now! She will still say it too, like today when this conversation occurred...

Haylee: "Aww man, they don't have their lights on Mommy" (the neighbor's house)

Me: "That's because it's daytime Haylee, lights are only on at night"

Haylee: "Nooo Mommy, it's CHRISTMAS TIME! Not daytime!"

HAHA I sure love her sweet and innocent soul.

The Friday afternoon after Thanksgiving Dave came home from work while Haylee was napping and put up the tree. We got everything out and waited for her to wake up to put it all up. When she came downstairs and saw it all she was SO excited and started jumping up and down and screaming. It was so cute!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving day! We started the morning off watching the Macy's Day parade and Dave made pancakes. Haylee really enjoyed watching the parade and seeing the Broadway shows. She would dance and sing with them. She also loved pointing out the big balloon cartoons! Around noon we all got ready and headed out to my mom & dad's house. My mom and I (with Dave's help) started to cook around 3 and we ate around 6. The food was delicious and the kids had a fun time playing together!

Song Fest and Potluck

Last night we went to Haylee's Song Fest & Potluck at her school. I am a bad mommy & didn't put my memory card in my camera and didn't realize it until AFTER she had finished singing =( So I didn't get any pictures AT ALL while she was singing. It made me so sad! I had gotten missed a lot of cute ones of her waving at me and being so excited. I did get some video but it wasn't great because I was trying to video and take pictures at the same time (plus people being in the way). Guess I should of just videoed her & ditched the camera!

When she first came in and finally saw me sitting up front she was SO excited! She waved for a good while and then pointed at me and told her teacher I was right there. It was SO cute. Then they started singing and I think she almost forgot I was there because at one point she saw me again and stood up to wave at me =) SO sweet.

After the singing we all ate some yummy dinner then hung out for a little while. This is when I realized my camera didn't have the memory card in it! So I did get some pictures afterwards of us just hanging out LOL

yummy dessert!

Haylee made this necklace and turkey in class. The kids were wearing the necklace during the singing and the turkey was sitting on the table as decoration =)

Doctor appointment and interview

Since my wonderful sister was so kind to help me out with Haylee's "birthday blog" I am able to update on other things!

We went to Haylee's 3 year old appointment on Monday. When we first got called back they weighed her and measured her. They also took her blood pressure & oxygen saturation (they start that at 3 years old).

Here are her stats:

Weight: 28.2 lbs (24%)
Height: 36 inches (20%)
Blood Pressure: 80/48
O2: 100 %

The nurse then had me change her into a gown (another thing they start at 3 years old) and we waited for the doctor to come in. She is still a little girl (no surprise there!) but the doctor said she is growing just great, & staying right on track! The doctor asked her a few questions, including who came to her birthday with her answer being "Cason & Cole"... I thought it'd be Rapunzel! HAHA! She's boy crazy already! She had Haylee do a few other things like jumping from one block to another, holding fingers up for how old she is, and more but my mind is drawing a blank! Oops! The doctor said she looks GREAT!

As I was taking her picture the doctor came in so this is the only picture I got on my cellphone =/

I did an "interview" with Haylee a few months back and thought it would be cute to do another one with her now to see how she has changed =)

What is your name? "Haylee Renee Salisbury"
(which she can now spell Haylee & write an "H"!)

How old are you? "phree"... aka 3

What is your favorite color? "pink"

Who is your best friend? "Kylie"

What is your favorite animal? "Cow"

What do you want to be when you grow-up? "a Princess!"

What is your favorite Movie? "Kung Fu Panda"

What is your favorite book? "Princess book"

What is your favorite toy? "my Jewelry box"

What makes you happy? "the sun"

What makes you sad? "My doctor make me sad when they shot me"  =(

What is your favorite food to eat? "Pretzels & grapes"

What is your favorite song to sing? "Jesus Loves Me"

What games do you like to play? "on my 'puter" aka computer

One thing I thought was cute was at music class last week they made a place mat & the teacher asked Haylee what she was thankful for. She said "All the life"... I asked what life & she said "Jesus'" =)

Happy 3rd Birthday Haylee Renee!!!

For Haylee's 3rd Birthday we had her party at All About Me Music & Books! She's really been into Tangled lately so we wanted her Princess to be Rapunzel! She LOVES Rapunzel and would tell people her name is Princess Rapunzel (which she actually told Rapunzel that at the party! HAHA).

Haylee had a lot of friends come to her party and Rapunzel stayed for almost the entire time. We had pizza, cupcakes and lots of fun with Rapunzel. The kids had a great time and loved everything. I think it is safe to say Haylee had a great 3rd Birthday!
