1st Dance Recital!

Haylee has been going to a dance class on Friday at 11:00 am with Dance Makers. She loves it and caught on very quickly. Wednesday night (yea the same day as her school program) was her first dance program. Her class was so adorable and I even got a little teary eyed watching her! Grandma, KK, Kylie and Brayden also came to watch her dance!

Last day of 1st year of preschool

Haylee's last day of her first year of preschool was on Wednesday, the 23rd. Her last actual class was on Tuesday because she was going to be leaving for Illinois for a wedding she's in on Thursday so wouldn't be able to attend school that day. Also, her end of the year program was supposed to be on Thursday but I asked the director Susan if she could possibly be involved in the Wednesday one instead so she didn't miss out on it. Ms. Susan agreed immediately and was so sweet about it, she said Haylee has the perfect personality to be able to join a different class (the Mon/Wed 2's) and also Kylie would be there too.

The teachers gave the class a sand bucket with some candy in it on the last day, along with a cute book of drawings/pictures Haylee made this year.

We ordered this picture of her class for a memento of her 1st year of preschool. I think it turned out really cute =) This is a picture of a picture of course.

Wednesday I brought her to the Mon/Wed class around 10:30 for her to walk in with them. She changed into a tie-dyed shirt to match the rest of the class.

My 28th Birthday celebration

On the Saturday after my birthday we went to Sumo's to celebrate my birthday! The girls were at their first sleep over birthday party so it was just the adults and Brayden =)

After Sumo's we all went to my house for cake and presents.

Since the girls weren't there to help me open the presents Brayden helped me!

I got a lot of awesome gifts this year (GC for Bare Escentuals makeup, 31 bag, key chain, cup with my name on it, iPhone, and money - which I got clothes with). Thank you to everyone who got me something and celebrated with me and who thought of me on my birthday!!

Very first haircut!

As many of you know I have not cut Haylee's hair at all since she was born. I (along with many others) was afraid all those beautiful curls would be cut off and never come back, plus I wanted her hair long and so did she (like Rapunzel). However, her hair was getting too long and unmanageable so I decided it was time for a little trim. Kylie had gotten her first cut a few weeks ago so Haylee knew what to expect and was excited.

We went to Pigtails and Crewcuts, they specialize in children's haircuts and have all the cool things for kids. Haylee picked the airplane to sit in and did awesome!

I asked about her curls staying and she said you can see her "S curve" all the way up so she will always have some sort of a wave in her hair =)

They offer a "My First Haircut" package where they save some hair and take a picture at the end and you get this cute little memento. I love it! I also love how her hair is little curls in there =)
