Just dance!

When we were at my parents on Sunday for Father's Day the girls played a new Wii game that my mom got. It's a dancing game and of course they loved it. Haylee LOVES to dance and it was so cute to watch them! My photo card ran out of room so we used my mom to record more dances but I didn't get the videos from her. Sorry! So I only have one video for now. Enjoy!



Some cute things she says...

I haven't done this in a while and realized it when Haylee has been saying a lot of cute things lately. So here are a few things I remembered =)

On the way to Kimberly's the other morning...

Haylee: "Is Kylie my friend?"

Me: "Yes!"

Haylee: "But she's mean"

Me: "She's mean?!"

Haylee: "Yea, she's not my friend. Brayden is, he's soooo cuuuute!!"

She sure loves her Brayden. She even named her baby doll after him (as you'll see in the video at the end).

Here are some random things she'll say...

"Mommy, talk at me!"

(when I'm not responding to something she is saying fast enough LOL)

When she's telling a story... "Remember when...?"

Which I love because it shows she's really starting to remember things! It also makes me a little sad because I can't do as much with her this year/summer as I have in the past...

She calls her crayons her "color crayons".

She is VERY into coloring lately and will ask us to draw people on her etch-a-sketch, then she will try very hard to draw someone too. I think we may have a budding artist like her Daddy!

I took her to the doctor's last Friday to get her MMR shot (and a I guess a 2 1/2 year old well check up).

Here are her stats:

26 lbs 8 oz - 25th percentile

34.5 inches tall - 15th percentile

These are no surprise as everyone knows she is a little girl! She is a joy though and is showing her terrible twos for sure HAHA. For being so little she can have a big attitude (& is super whiney lately, which I am trying SO hard to break!)! But she'll usually give in pretty quickly when you tell her it isn't acceptable. She's eager to please! She's doing good with potty training, except when she's at KK's house... she has more accidents there (which I think is because she doesn't have a little potty to run to & Kimberly is too busy to get to her to help her on the big potty). She also picks up on a lot and watches everything we do. The other day I was straightening my hair and she was acting like she was straightening her hair with her hands. She's always under our feet wanting to be with us and LOVES to cuddle on the couch with us. She asks us all the time "Mommy/Daddy are you happy?" and lately has been asking if we are her friend. 

Here is a sweet video of her talking to her baby "Brayden" in the car. She talks to the real Brayden (haha) the same way, just like Kimberly or I would talk to him. She picks up on EVERYTHING!

It's just plain fun!

We went to Ocean Breeze again today! I start school back up tomorrow so we wanted to go again before I did. We hope to be able to go more during the summer on my off clinical days but we will see how my "studying" is going.

Haylee started off a little rocky today but soon jumped right in and was going down slides by herself in no time. Her and Kylie played together a lot today and went down slides together. They were so cute holding hands and holding onto each other. I love that they are close in age =)

Playing outside

This evening we played outside for a little while since the weather was so beautiful. Haylee loves to be outside and would stay out there all day if she could (unless it's real hot of course, then she over heats haha!). I took a few videos of her playing and talking up a storm =)

Now she's just playing and running around... I love how she runs!
