Jackson is 3 months old!

Just to warn you, another long post!

Weight, Height and Sizes: As I said in Noah's post, we only got Jackson's weight at his last appointment. He weighed in at 11 lbs 2 oz, still one pound behind his brother. He is wearing only 3 month clothes and they fit him well, some things are a little baggy on him, like sleepers. Diapers are a size 1 and they also fit him well.

Eating: 5 ounces of Enfamil AR formula. This formula is for spit-up. It has added rice starch in it to make it thicker, and has helped with his spit-up. In the beginning, like 2 weeks old, he would spit up what seemed like an entire ounce. Now he still spits up some but it is not nearly that much and is very manageable. He also eats roughly every 3-4 hours and tends to eat more at night before bedtime.

Sleeping: Not quite through the night yet. For a few nights he has slept from about 7/8pm until about 4-5am. Which is still pretty good and we can't complain! At bedtime he doesn't do as well as Noah does at putting himself to sleep. I typically will rock him a little until he is sleepy then lay him down. He will cry maybe once (& have to be calmed down) before finally staying asleep. He does not have any specific nap times either and is also staying awake for longer periods during the day. He is also still sleeping in our room at night in his own Rock'n Play Sleeper.

Language/Personality: Jackson also talks a lot, actually more than his brother. He has a lot to say and will definitely be a talker like his Daddy and Sissy. Lately when he wakes up at 4am he is talking and cooing and a happy boy, I'm always afraid he'll wake up Noah he is so loud! He's also always happy. He smiles almost any time he is awake and definitely any time you are talking to him. I absolutely LOVE his big ol' gumless grin! The only time he is upset is typically when he is hungry, and it'll spring up on you too and come out of no where. He is always moving and very "stiff" I guess you can say. He doesn't cuddle as much as Noah does and when I hold him he throws his head back like he wants to see me, not cuddle with me. I say that's why he isn't catching up in weight with Noah, because he doesn't stay still.

Memories/Firsts:

1. Jackson laughed for the first time. He had been squealing and not quite getting the full giggle out but he finally did and it was so cute of course! He will also just be laying with himself and laugh at nothing =)
2. He is SO ticklish. That's one way to get him to squeal and laugh. Right under his arms on his sides and if you kiss/tickle his neck.
3. He rolled over from his stomach to his back!  He hates tummy time lately but I have been forcing it on them to build those neck muscles. He's not a fan of building any muscles.
4. Jackson also has his hands in his mouth all the time and drools a lot also.
5. He loves his sissy. So does Noah actually. She loves on them all the time and can get them both to smile often.
6. He had his first boo-boo (technically day one into his 4th month but I'll forget to post it next month). It was at Haylee's birthday party and his head hit a door. I had never heard him cry like he did that day, it was heart breaking =(

Ahhh I LOVE that smile!

Typical, Jackson talking and Noah sad HAHA

Noah is 3 months old!

I decided to do something a little different with my monthly blogs of the boys. They are after all their own selves so I decided to make their own post every month and write a little something about them. The boys not only look different but they are very different in personality also! I want to try to remember the little things, so these posts are long!

Weight, Height and Sizes: The boys had only shots this month because we are doing an alternative shot schedule for them, much like we did with Haylee. So we only saw the nurse and I asked to weigh them. Noah weighs 12 lbs 5 oz! He is wearing only 3 month clothes and they fit him very well. Diapers are a size 1-2. Ones still fit him but are getting small and I like to put a 2 on him at night at least.

Eating: 5-6 ounces of Enfamil Infant formula. Roughly every 3-4 hours. He tends to eat more at night before bedtime.

Sleeping: FINALLY through the night I think! For a few nights now he has slept from about 7/8pm until about 7am. He does well at putting himself to sleep also. He does not have any specific nap times. It really depends on what we do for the day but I have noticed he is staying awake for longer periods at a time. He is still sleeping in our room at night in a Rock'n Play Sleeper. If he could he would sleep right next to mommy all night, every night. The next step will be moving to the nursery. Soon... soon...

Noah doesn't like that idea...

Language/Personality: Noah is "talking" a lot lately. I love hearing him. He likes to talk early in the morning. He still has not laughed though. He has tried but can't seem to get it out HAHA. Noah is my emotional/bipolar baby. He goes from happy and huge smiles to frowning and crying in a second. He definitely is not always smiles like his brother but mommy (& a pretty girl) can usually squeeze one out of him! He still loves to cuddle with mommy, whenever I pick him up he automatically lays his head on my shoulder, I love it. He melts right into me.

 Memories/Firsts:

1. The boys had their first Halloween (I know I put pictures on the last blog of this but technically it was in their 3rd month HAHA)
2. Noah has started to notice his brother (Jackson, not so much). I try to put them by each other often and I noticed Noah looking at Jackson and talking. Dave said the other day while I was at work he was doing the same. Jackson does not answer back HAHA.
3. He saw his hands for the first time! He stared at them for a second then right into his mouth they went!
4. Speaking of that, he always has his hands in his mouth and is drooling a ton. Sure hope this isn't a sign of something to come soon...
5. He sleeps with his lovie but could really care less. He's also not real attached to the paci. Being as "emotional" and sensitive as he is I would of thought that'd be different.

And since he is a twin, here is a picture with his brother =)
I just adore these two!

Happy Halloween!

The most beautiful Sofia the First I've ever seen...

She felt so beautiful in this costume. She loved how the dress went down to the ground and has worn it every single day since! I love seeing her so happy. She has the most beautiful smile. My Princess.

Lost tooth

I can't believe it but Haylee has lost her first tooth on October 1st. TWO actually - she lost her second on October 2nd! She's not even 5 yet! But I hear that if kids get their teeth early (she was 4 months I believe) then they lose them early. She was so happy and felt like such a big girl!

However, she was a little nervous about the Tooth Fairy (some strange person) coming into her room and getting the tooth so we kept the tooth in our room & the Tooth Fairy visited there. Made it easy for us! Ha!

TWO months old!

The boys turned two months old on October 8th!

Noah Kenneth - 10 lb 8 oz & 22 inches

Jackson Paul - 9 lb 4.5 oz & 21 inches

Stupid camera strap HAHA

A few more from their second month, unfortunately I take most my pictures on my phone so I don't have many good ones...
