ABC's

Grandma got a CD for the girls (mostly Haylee) to listen to in the car and it is all about the ABC's. The first song is the actual ABC song and Haylee always sings it. She stops after about "G" but she does pretty good I think and of course sounds so cute!

Tiny

Yesterday my sister decided that it was time to put our family pet Tiny to sleep. She was almost 16 years old and had cataracts and was going deaf. They didn't feel she was enjoying her life anymore and thought it was time. It was very hard for me to say good-bye. I almost didn't go to Kimberly's to say good-bye to her because I knew how hard it was going to be. We have had her since around when I was in the 6th grade & we got her when she was still a kitten at 6 or 9 months old, so we've had her a very long time. Of course my parents had her first and then when Kimberly and Jacob got a house they took her in. So she has been all of our pet.

I have so many great memories with her (so do a lot of my friends as they told me on my Facebook). I will never forget her, she was the sweetest and most loving cat ever!

RIP sweet Tiny

I wanted to get some pictures of Haylee with Tiny so we could always remember.

Kylie's school

Kylie's school had their annual fall festival. Last year Haylee and I went but she was young and couldn't really do much (not to mention she wasn't walking yet). So this year when I found out they were having it I was really excited because I knew she'd love it and would have a lot of fun. So the whole way to her school Haylee kept saying "go to Kylie's schoool" and was excited.

They had a few stations set up like ring toss and throwing a ping-pong ball into little holes. They also had snacks (of course, Haylee & Kylie loved those) and face painting. They had other things too, like a pumpkin patch & a few other games, but we didn't do anything else.

After the fall festival we went to lunch with Grandma at Olive Garden. It was a very fun day!

Haylee wanted Kylie's pumpkin

this picture makes me giggle, maybe it's her chubby cheeks =)
first time getting her face painted!
she sat really still (but touched it when the lady was done, hence the smudge)

Library time

I'm starting to really see how much Haylee really does love the story time at the library. She always has a blast when we go and can't wait til Tuesday. She also learned the sign language they teach the kids really fast. I barely go over them and she picked them up so well. Shows you how much their brain is like a sponge and you don't even realize it! Just last night she was sitting in the kitchen and singing songs. I think she was singing the welcome song (Haylee is here today, Haylee is here today, Everybody say HOORAY, Haylee is here today - and when they say hooray everyone puts their arms up). Of course her version of the song is a little different but she's still so cute =)

A few more of my favorite Snow White

Snow White

Magic Mirror, on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?

Snow White!

This is no ordinary apple. It's a magic wishing apple.

A wishing apple?

Yes. One bite, and all your dreams will come true

Oh, I feel strange

Sneak Peak!

It is past midnight here and I just finished editing Haylee's costume pictures. I REALLY think she is the cutest Snow White ever! I think the costume was made for her! Well here is a sneak peak, I will add more tomorrow =)

Short video

Here is a very short and scattered video of Haylee at the library story time. I wanted to record her dancing for Dave to see but of course every time I got my camera out she would run the other way or stop dancing. Oh well, here's an idea of what she does there.

Missing Nana & Papa

Earlier today while we were riding in the car Haylee randomly asked me "Where is Nana?" and then later tonight I was recording her playing and decided to ask her who she missed... this is what she said =)

VA Tech Game 10/16/10

Back in May I got Dave 2 tickets to the VA Tech vs. Wake Forest football game for his birthday present. The time finally came to go and we had a great time. The day started off VERY early at 4 am (after not going to sleep until 1am - & Dave never even fell asleep). We left about 5:30 to get on the road. We wanted to tailgate for a few hours before the game started. My friend Kelly and Adam came along with us also. We all pitched in to buy a parking pass to tailgate at. The lot (2) we got was a perfect location and very close to the stadium. I'm of course not very into football at all so I didn't get into the game itself but it was still very cool to be there. And Dave really enjoyed himself and that's all that matters!!
