The Salisbury Family: 1st trip to Busch Gardens in 2010

On Saturday Grandma, Grandpa, Kimberly, Kylie, Haylee and I decided to make a trip to Busch Gardens. Dave had to work that morning until 4 p.m. so he wasn't able to go with us. The weather started off rainy & a little chilly but by the time we got there the sun had come out and it really warmed up. It ended up being a very pretty day out. It was a little more packed then we expected, it was more like a regular summer day. The lines were long for the big rollar coasters so we didn't end up riding any. We pretty much just stayed around Sesame Street Forest of Fun and the kids rides. We also split up and saw two shows. Grandpa & Grandma took Haylee to see the Celtic dancers and Kimberly, Kylie & I went to see the Sesame Street show (which was 4-D and had special affects like water and air blowing). It was Kylie's first 4-D show and she kept taking her glasses off and trying to "catch" the flying objects. It was cute.

When we first got to Busch Gardens we went straight to the Sesame Street Forest of Fun and got in line for the first ride. It was a slow ride, where the kids just sit in a little dragon boat and go around in a river. We thought it would be a good ride to start out with. So Grandpa, Kylie, Haylee and I got into line. The whole time we were in line Haylee kept waving to the dragon boats and trying to climb over to them and acted like she really wanted to get on there. I was excited that she wanted to do it! BUT as soon as we got up to the boat and it was time to get in it she started crying! Kylie ended up riding it by herself like a big girl and enjoyed the ride.

So after this ride we let Kylie ride a few more rides, meet Elmo (Haylee of course wanted nothing to do with Elmo - even though she knows who he is & actually says "Elmo") and then we ate lunch.

After lunch it was time for our shows so we all split up and went our seperate ways. Kimberly, Kylie & I had a little time to spare before our show started so Kylie got to ride another ride. There weren't many kids in line so she got to just stay on it and keep riding it over and over again.

We then walked over to where the Sesame Street show was playing. We got there early so we took some pictures.

After the show we went to some more kiddy rides. I tried to get Haylee to ride another one with me but she wouldn't have it. She wouldn't even let us sit down in the chair without crying!

After these little rides we went back to the Sesame Street Forest of Fun for a little bit and Kylie road the rollar coaster. She LOVED it and wanted to keep riding it over and over.
